About Our Chapter

Welcome! Queen City Suspects is the Charlotte chapter of the international mystery writing organization, Sisters in Crime.

We are readers, writers, publishers, booksellers, and librarians bound by our love for the mystery genre and our support of mystery writers.

We welcome everyone who supports our mission to promote the ongoing advancement, recognition, and professional development of women crime writers in the Charlotte area of North Carolina.

We meet on the first Monday of every month and currently are meeting virtually via Google Meet. Our meetings include casual chats, goal setting, progress check-ins, writing tips, as well as guest speakers. We also stay connected via email and a private Facebook page.

Join our chapter.

Our chapter is always on the lookout for guest speakers to educate our members on writing craft, criminal process and law, and anything related to mysteries, thrillers, and more. Email jacy@jacysellers.com if you’d like to be a guest speaker for an upcoming meeting.
